Ang Mo Kio Court 2 Room BTO: An Interior Design Concept Idea

Comfort, convenience, functionality – these are probably the things you’re looking for in a small BTO flat (and then some more!). If that small home is already in your possession, you probably have dozens of upgrade and BTO renovation ideas that will turn the bland space into your personal haven.

Are you soon to be the proud inhabitant of an Ang Mo Kio Court 2-room Flexi BTO flat? The place provides amazing opportunities for the selection of décor that works harmoniously with the surrounding greenery.

Small flats need lots of empty space and light to look big and comfortable instead of cramped.

We have tons of experience with home interior design for small Singaporean BTO flats. Based on this know-how, we came up with our own distinctive vision for a 2-room Ang Mo Kio Court flat. Let us guide you through the possibilities.

Classy Modernism at Ang Mo Kio Court

We tried to keep the design concept classy and sophisticated, while also making sure it emanates warmth and comfort.

Let’s enter the living room first.

Multiple shades of beige, brown and black work together to give the interior natural, earthy vibes. A bit of texture is added through the wall panelling and the geometric shapes of the carpet (that still carries through the main colour scheme).

All furniture and accessories are positioned to make full use of the natural light coming in through the large living room window. In fact, the window is a focal design element that creates a bit of brightness and lightness.

The kitchen space has been designed to be fully utilised with no wasted spaces.

We chose two parallel counters to give home chefs a sufficient work surface without taking away from the kitchen space. Dark blue, white and glossy finishes work together to make the kitchen look streamlined and modern. The light fixture is the only slightly eccentric element that gives the space personality.

Finally, let’s head into the comfortable master bedroom. The beige and earth tone colour scheme is carried out here, as well. The bed is the obvious focal point. We also added a couple of small accents to break up the design and make it visually engaging. A shaggy rug and small pieces of art on the wall above the bed ensure comfort and a bit of colour. We have also done our best to incorporate enough storage space, eliminating clutter from the bedroom altogether.
