Ang Mo Kio Court 4 Room BTO: A Classy Urban Aesthetics Interior Design Concept

What drew you to an Ang Mo Kio Court 4-room BTO flat? Were you enticed by the space? Or maybe you liked the greenery of the region, combined with all of the nearby urban amenities and conveniences?

Whatever the reason, planning the appearance and upgrades of your new flat is an incredibly exciting project. It can also get a little bit overwhelming because you’ll probably want to feature all of your dream fixtures, appliances and decorations.

Editing your interior design concept to narrow it down and make it focused isn’t easy if you lack a professional eye.

This is why Home Guide’s team of skilled interior designers has decided to unlock the 4-room flat’s full potential. We put together a 3D visualisation that reveals just how balanced, stylish and sophisticated an Ang Mo Kio Court flat could be after a virtual home renovation makeover.

A Residential Space Worth a Million Dollars

Choosing the right fixtures and home upgrades will easily increase the value of your residential property. Not only that, the right selection can also give the space an elevated, very luxurious vibe without costing you a fortune.

This is precisely what we attempted to accomplish through our project and we believe that the final outcome surpasses the brief.

Let’s start with the living room and dining area. These bring together the warmth of natural materials and some industrial, sleek urban elements that give the room character. The exposed lightbulbs in the frame-like chandelier are one such element that we believe matches the “personality” of the flat exceptionally well.

We chose darker wood for the living area and lighter wood for the dining area to create some visual contrast and points of interest.

The kitchen brags 100 per cent functional, no-nonsense design. The light-coloured cabinets blend into the walls and make the room look more spacious. We also added two parallel countertop surfaces that can be used for more convenient culinary masterpiece preparation.

Ang Mo Kio Court’s 4-room flat has one master bedroom and two more additional bedrooms. We worked hard to turn the master bedroom into the star of the interior design show.

Modern nightstands and a comfortable bed dominate the bedroom. A large artwork above the headboard is the only decorative element. There’s a reason why the design isn’t more colourful. The large window dominates the room and reveals the lush greenery of the surrounding area. As interior designers, we really wanted to put emphasis on the landscape and maximise the amount of light entering the flat.

Needless to say, the master bedroom is provided with sufficient storage space. The white closet is big enough, yet unobtrusive and functional.

The second bedroom brings together a relaxation and a functional area.

The bed is positioned on a raised platform to break up the design and to also give the room’s occupant the most beautiful view. A minimalist desk and a modern, ergonomic chair are also added to the design concept. This room can easily provide sufficient space for a guest or a teenager who wants a cool and modern room.

Finally, the third bedroom provides enough space for the creation of a larger study. We have conceptualised this place as a home office. Given contemporary realities, every single family is in need of at least one such functional space.
