Inspiring and Modern Condominium Interior Design at the Cyan

Natural, warm and bright, the Cyan condominium at Keng Chin Road experienced a complete transformation and a modernisation aimed at making the home interior design functional. Light colours and natural materials have come together to produce a contemporary vibe suited to the needs of young and energetic inhabitants

The Home Guide team worked on the concept and the execution of a home interior design upgrade for this beautiful condo. We used natural shades, quality materials and clever storage solutions to open up the apartment, brighten the living space and make it conducive for proper relaxation.

Several design elements were carried throughout the property to ensure visual consistency and continuity. At the same time, we worked on letting each individual space demonstrate its character through the right choice of materials, furniture and accessories.

We believe that the values of a homeowner should be displayed proudly through the home décor choices made. The foyer makes a clear statement and it also sets up the rest of the interior design. Clean, light and functional, the foyer is inviting and it opens up the rest of the condo for exploration.

The living area combines with the dining area, creating one big and functional space that the inhabitants will spend the most of their time in. This is why the Home Guide designers choose light tones, beautiful modern fixtures and comfy oversized furniture.

The large off-white sofas contrast the warm tones of the walls and the floor, creating a spot of visual interest. We also played with textures and various types of fabrics to give the design a bit of dimension. The absence of a coffee table is notable but as you can see, the sofa itself features a built-in shelf that makes it easy to sip some coffee or enjoy a bowl of popcorn in front of the TV.

The dining area is a part of the living room and the practical concept mentioned above has been extended to this space.

The first thing you’ll probably notice about the dining area is the beautiful and minimalist light fixtures. Positioned right above the table, these make a design statement and they also illuminate the space where the family gets together to share a meal and enjoy a quick chat in the evening.

We amped up the warmth and we added a bit of decadence to the design of the master bedroom. Аt the same time, Home Guide focused on functionality and clutter-free solutions to create the perfect space for quality sleep and rejuvenating activities. Low hanging lights and warm-coloured light bulbs replace the traditional nightstand lamp. We believe this choice results in a modern interpretation of a classic bedroom setup that is playful and very clean at the same time. Warm wood and a beige panel headboard contribute to some more softness and charm.

The second bedroom is reminiscent of the master bedroom but the interior was executed in a bit cooler and more neutral way. A raised black platform increases the elegance of the space and also creates a functional sleeping area that has its distinctive vibe. Once again, nightstand lamps are missing and these have been replaced by a more functional illumination solution (a light rod on the wall behind the bed).

We have saved the best for last. Sleek shelving, a dark kitchen island and elegant countertops all work together to make the kitchen modern and clean. The dry kitchen brags open shelving as a space-saving option that also displays the cook’s favourite herbs, ingredients and utensils. The use of sliding doors and reflective surfaces creates the illusion of more space and allows the homeowners to make the most of the kitchen design.
