Costa Rhu: Raw Textures Meet Relaxed Refinement

In this three-bedroom unit at Costa Rhu, clean geometry and raw textures define a warm yet modern aesthetic. The layout was thoughtfully reworked to open up the heart of the home—by hacking away the wall between the wet and dry kitchens, the space now enjoys a seamless connection with the dining area and enhanced natural light from the adjacent living room. For practical daily use, a sliding glass door was added to allow flexible separation for heavier cooking.

The former wall dividing the private lift landing and living area was also removed to create a wider, more welcoming living space. A timber barn door was installed as a visual feature that conceals the lift entrance with rustic charm.

In the master suite, a series of layout enhancements were introduced. The wall between the wardrobe and vanity was removed to improve spatial flow and allow more daylight in. Cabinet space was expanded and a separate dresser was tucked into its own niche, defined by a deep green accent wall. The master bathroom, previously dark and enclosed, was redesigned with a fluted glass sliding door to brighten the interior. The bathtub and shower zones were reconfigured for better proportions, and the vanity downsized to create a more generous walk-in shower.

The common bathroom stands in contrast with its monochrome patterned flooring and glossy subway-tiled walls—a nod to graphic minimalism, balanced by matte black fittings.

Throughout, concrete-textured cabinetry and deep-toned hardware add an industrial undertone, softened by timber touches and a curated palette of stone, black, and earth hues—resulting in a home that feels quietly confident and crafted for everyday living.
