This specialist clinic at Gleneagles Hospital was designed to balance professional functionality with a calming ambience — delivering a space that puts both patients and practitioners at ease.

Upon entry, patients are greeted by a welcoming reception area that features a clean-lined counter with concealed lighting, accompanied by ample built-in cabinetry for efficient document and supply storage. The layout promotes smooth front-of-house operations while maintaining an uncluttered visual flow.

The waiting area is comfortably appointed with custom-built bench seating and soft furnishings, designed in gentle teal and wood tones that echo throughout the rest of the clinic. The visual palette — light oak flooring, white surfaces, and turquoise accents — was chosen to evoke a sense of calm, cleanliness, and clarity.

Two consultation rooms were custom-fitted with bespoke cabinetry and integrated consultation beds to ensure ergonomic comfort and seamless functionality for medical procedures. Curtains and strategic planning around room orientation help preserve privacy while allowing natural light to enter where possible.

A compact but thoughtfully planned pantry was included for staff convenience. High-gloss white cabinets and concealed under-cabinet lighting ensure the space remains bright and hygienic.

This project reflects our approach to specialist healthcare spaces — prioritising workflow, hygiene, and a welcoming atmosphere in equal measure.
