We have very positive experience working with Project Director/ID Mr Lance Ching Yew Fatt, ably helped by his assistant Ms Cherie Saw. Lance spent substantial time with us discussing our requirements, showed us the interior designs of our home renovation before starting work. He also brought us to select the necessary tiles and bathroom accessories from vendors. More importantly, Lance and his team worked according to an agreed project schedule and delivered/handed the apartment to us on time & schedule. Though the renovation cost is not low, both my wife and I felt that we have worked with a competent team and the money spent is worth it and we are satisfied with their work. Thank You.

I am super glad to have chose Home guide as my ID for my BTO HDB new home. The process was smooth which their company send an ID to your place to check on the floor plan and to understand your needs. I was lucky to have been assigned Zac as my Designer. He is professional and guide us through the process for first timer like us. He would work to understand your budget and your design it as close to your request as possible. Eventually why we have chose Home Guide was because of Zac’s confidence in his work and also the design was close to what we wanted. Zac have also manage to exceed our expectations by answering to our question on time and also take the effort to fix any issue we have spotted during the process. Eventually our dream home was nicely done up and price was great and have a pleasant experience with Home guide! Probably a good idea too to look for Zac for if you want a stress free renovation

We used HG for our 2,056 Sq Ft recently purchased condo renovation: bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. We chose HG because we were familiar with work they did on another home in addition to being one of the few IDs who were willing to do a site visit at no extra cost. This was our first time using an ID.

Quite honestly, we went into this with HG not being our top choice, but they won us over by their attention to detail, speedy response, and very reasonable prices. Alissa is the ID whom we worked with, and we were extremely impressed with the personalized recommendations/suggestions and above all, her professionalism. She would point out so many details which we had never imagined/thought of. Her suggestions were always very appropriate yet not too aggressive. She guided us in the right direction with her experiences.

Below are specific points I’d like to highlight:

– During the site visit, Alissa showed up with pen, paper and a tape measure and we observed that she was diligently drawing pictures, taking measurements and taking many photos. This is in stark contrast to another designer from The Scientist who performed a walkthrough and did a lot more talking than Alissa did, but in the end lacked the expertise and follow-up which Alissa demonstrated.
– Our renovations included conversion of the kitchen into an open concept plan, conversion of guest bedroom into a multi-functional room, which not only expanded the size of our living area, but also serves as our family/TV room, as well as a guest bedroom, and finally, modernizing the bathrooms with colorful, more modern tiles, vanity, bathtub and shower.
– Built/designed much needed cabinets for storage, etc.

Like a good executive, Alissa wasted no time and proved to be a very effective delegator to the subcontractors, but maintained close contact with us every step of the way. Her team members were also like her — very professional and work in time efficient way. Alissa’s follow-up/responsiveness was lightning fast, even a few weeks post-completion. For things she was not directly involved with, she acted very promptly to help us (e.g. getting a new hot water heater etc.).

Overall we couldn’t be happier!! Alissa did a fantastic job to transform our condo into a cozy home, and are happy to recommend her services
