Camelot by The Water

A 4 bedroom condominium in Tanjong Rhu has been re-designed by Home Guide to create an inviting, luxurious space. The marble floors were already in place when the apartment was bought, which provided inspiration for elements that were added throughout the condominium interior design process. The designs and furniture selection were made to exude inviting warmth to all who enters the home.

The intention was to create a space infused with classic and sophisticated style. Starting from the cream marbled floors, Home Guide created a palette of rich browns and ambers. The dining area invites one to step up to the glowing crème leather bar for a light aperitif before taking a seat at the exquisite brown granite dining table. The other spaces in the home were designed with equal careful consideration and the whole home is a beautiful example of Singapore interior design.

In the living room, the masculine elements of the dark leather lounge suite and bronze framed mirror display unit, are balanced by the soft touch of the crème leather feature-wall paneling and the softly layered muted colours of the curtains.

While the living areas are warm and inviting, the kitchen is fresh and spacious with clean lines. The addition of the central island serves as an extra counter space for meal preparation, or even a spot for a chat and coffee with a friend.

The bedroom is a decadent oasis, with deep red in the rug and curtains, and elements of gold and cream detailing on the bed and headboard. The TV unit has a clean wall panel to hide cables, with the base storage cabinet running down the room and changing levels to become a study table. The dressing table elegantly mirrors the study table on the opposite wall. With the option to adjust the room lighting from a fully lit space, to a subtle glow behind the bed creating cosy ambiance, lighting is the final important element that frames the room.

The use of high-end materials continues in the master bathroom through the use of a striking marron emperador marble vanity wall. The full width mirror is backlit and appears to float in front of the marble, completing the look.
